Custom Orthotics

Dr. Palmquist uses gait analysis and 3D scanning technology to evaluate your condition and create custom orthotics.

Custom Orthotics are biomechanical medical appliances designed to align the foot and ankle into the most anatomical position. Although they resemble insoles, these medical orthotics are made custom to each foot in order to correct any imbalances.

Reconstructive Surgery

Dr. Palmquist is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and specializes in reconstructive surgery.

The purpose of reconstructive foot surgery is to improve function and stability. The process may involve repairing/transferring tendons, grafting, bone fusing, and implanting joints. A cast or other fixation device may be required after surgery for stabilization during healing.

Radial Shockwave Therapy

Dr. Palmquist is now using radial shockwave therapy (RSWT) to treat foot, heel and ankle pain.

Treatments require no downtime, take less than 10 minutes per treatment and do not involve any injections.

Class IV Laser Treatment

Class IV Lasers emit electromagnetic light (near-infrared light waves). When we utilize lightwaves for healing, this process is called PHOTOBIOMODULATION.

Once laser light touches the skin, photons penetrate underlying tissue and our cells absorb the light’s energy.

Studies with Class IV Lasers studies have shown accelerated cell growth, tissue repair and nerve regeneration.

Class IV Laser therapy is a painless, non-invasive, drug-free modality that has been scientifically documented to significantly reduce, and often completely eliminate pain. The main goal of laser therapy is to stimulate cells to perform their natural functions, but at a rate that expedites healing by up to 300 times faster than normal.
